About

Scott Township EMS (STEMS) was formed in 1997 between Bower Hill VFD and Glendale Hose Company #1 to provide EMS services for the residents of Scott Township. Initially, the crews were made up of volunteers, with paid EMT's and Paramedics during the daylight hours (7am-5pm). In 1999, STEMS became a full-time (24/7) paid ambulance service, covering over 3 square miles and 17,500 residents.

Today, our crews operate out of the Glendale station with one ambulance on 24 hours per day and up to two additional ambulances during peak hours. The STEMS fleet consists of four ambulances, which you can view here.

If you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1 immediately. Our non-emergency line is listed on our contact page.
